Greg Lawless has been a lawyer since 1978, and Janine Lawless has been a lawyer serving the Ballard community since 1989. From 1989 to 1996, Greg and Janine worked together at another law firm in Ballard, where they both became partners. In 1996, they decided to start their own law firm, the Lawless Partnership, LLP. They started the firm with a mission of providing clients high quality, cost effective legal services in a pleasant work environment.

Since then, Greg's practice has primarily focused on real estate transactions and business and corporation formation. Janine's practice focuses on estate planning and probate and estate administration. Greg and Janine remain proud and devoted parents of Shannon Lawless, and active volunteers in the community. They are partners in life, partners in business, and partners with their community.

In 2009, Greg's and Janine's son-in-law, Paul Crisalli, joined the Lawless Partnership after clerking for a justice on the Washington State Supreme Court. In addition to assisting and learning from Greg and Janine in their respective practice areas, Paul also brings his expertise in appellate matters to the Lawless Partnership. Paul also brings his dog, Scout, (also known as the "grandpuppy") to roam the halls and ensure proper productivity amongst the staff.

Today, Greg, Janine, Paul, and the staff, Paralegals Priscilla West and Ruth Sved and office assistant Amy Allen remain committed to the original mission of the Lawless Partnership by providing high quality work at a reasonable price, while still maintaining a pleasant work environment.
